Project objective
The objectives set are multi-level, and can be summarised as products innovative technology with low environmental impact (extraction of essences, such as chamomile and vanilla, from natural sources with solvents that have a lower environmental impact), a lasting technological and strategic platform (network of companies and research centres) that can continue its activities to become a point of reference in the fashion industry, specifically in the perfume and fragrance sector, and in cosmetics.Project description
The SCENT OF LOMBARDY project is aimed at the creation of a technological platform that can be accessed by perfume companies interested in making the components of their perfumes eco-sustainable.The process exemplifies the activities of the platform by developing essences with chemo-enzymatic processes,and optimising the extraction of natural essences (camomile and vanilla) with solvents with a low environmental impact.
